Refund policy
If formbar isn't for you, you get your money back.
The short version
- You have 14 days from the day you buy to ask for a refund.
- It's a full refund, and you don't need to give a reason.
- It covers both a new licence and a renewal of updates.
- Email hello@getformbar.com and we'll take care of it.
1. What you can get refunded
- A formbar licence, within 14 days of buying it.
- A renewal (12 more months of updates), within 14 days of buying it.
The refund is for the full amount you paid, including any VAT or sales tax. It doesn't matter whether you've downloaded, activated or used formbar.
2. How to ask
Email hello@getformbar.com from the email address you bought with, and say that you'd like a refund. Including your licence key or the order number from your receipt helps us find the order, but isn't required. We answer within a few working days.
3. How you get the money
Our orders are handled by our reseller Paddle.com, the Merchant of Record for every purchase. Paddle sends the refund back to the payment method you paid with. How quickly it shows up depends on your bank or card provider, and usually takes a few working days.
4. What happens to your licence
- When a licence is refunded, it stops activating, and the computers it was on go back to the trial rules. Your design files stay yours and stay on your computer.
- When a renewal is refunded, your updates period goes back to what it was before. Your licence stays.
5. Your right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in the EU, you have a legal right to withdraw from a purchase of digital content within 14 days. This policy gives you at least that, whether or not you've started using formbar. To use it, tell us clearly that you want to withdraw. An email is enough.
6. After 14 days
After 14 days a purchase is normally final. If something is wrong with formbar itself, write to us anyway: section 12 of the terms covers what we do when it doesn't work, and nothing here limits the rights the law gives you.
